History
Quality has tradition
We now look back on a successfully company history that exists for 149 years. Founded in 1863, today we are market leader in manufacturing aluminium profiles for textile and elastic floor coverings and profile systems for all hard floor coverings such as laminate or parquet.
Already in 1970 production of the first metal profiles started. In the following 10 years, also profiles made of plastic have been produced and sold. By end of 1993, this production stopped and Küberit focussed on the materials aluminium, brass and stainless steel.
Through the European branch leaders for laminate, wood floorings and elastic coverings as customers, Küberit established as supplier of the floor covering industry already in 1990 and so laid the foundation stone for the recent market position. The high and constant quality as well as innovative application solutions made the brand Küberit especially in the last 27 years to the first address for the floor covering industry – worldwide.
