Major investment at the location Lüdenscheid takes shape and the initial operation of the fully-automatic high rack warehouse shall occur already in September. After building licence delays of the 24 m high hall during spring-time 2007, building promoters worked even quicker in the 2nd half of 2007.

Since January, 10th 2008 30% of the base frames for the long lengths have been already finished so that storage technology may be installed in short time. Total storage capacity will be increased to 5,3 million running meters of profiles. The furthermore built associated hall which connects the high rack warehouse and the exisiting production halls for the future is ready for occupancy after roofing has been finished.

After another very successful business year, the Sauerländer profile specialist are now looking forward to serving the numerously domestic and foreign customers worldwide even faster with the new high rack warehouse.
